Vacations - Part I

E como prometido, aqui segue a primeira parte das minhas férias. Fui passar o Natal e o Ano Novo na minha casa de ferias em Chidenguele - nao poderia ter sido melhor. Apesar de ter levado o trabalho atrás, a minha vontade de trabalhar era tão pouca que nao fiz quase nada...

Apesar de desde os 9 anos passar alguns Natais em África, continuo a achar super estranho ser Natal e estar calor...ou mesmo estar na praia!!! Para muitos isto parece um sonho, mas enfim, para mim continua a ser muito estranho e ver aquelas imagens do Pai Natal com uma camisa estilo Havaiana nao me convence nada.

O melhor de tudo foi mesmo poder passar o Ano Novo com alguns amigos dos tempos em que estive a estudar em Moçambique. Tive ainda a oportunidade de ir à pesca à seria pela primeira vez e consegui pescar uma raia com 10 Kilos o que me encheu o ego - juro que voltamos a colocar a raia dentro de água! Infelizmente ainda nao tenho as fotografias para vos mostrar..

And as promised, here follows the first part of my vacation. I went to spend Christmas and New Years Eve in my holiday home in Chidenguele - could not have been better. Despite having taken my job with me, my willingness to work was so little that I didn't do hardly anything... 

Although I spend a few Christmas in Africa since I was 9, I still find it strange to have a hot Christmas ... or even be on the beach! To many this seems like a dream, but anyway, for me continues to be very strange to see those images of Father Christmas with a Hawaiian shirt style...it doesn't  convince me at all. 

Best of all was the fact that I was able to spend New Years with some friends from the times when I was studying in Mozambique. I also had the opportunity to go fishing for the first time and I was able to fish a stingray with 10 Kilos that filled my ego - I swear I came back to put the stingray in the water! Unfortunately I still don't have the pictures to show you..

Entre o Natal e o Ano Novo fomos ainda ao Tofo fazer uma mini visita. É uma terrinha pequena mas tem uma das baias mais bonitas que vi.

Between Christmas and New Year also went to Tofo for a mini visit. It is a small place of land but has one of the most beautiful bays I saw.

Depois de umas férias super merecidas, estou de volta ao blog! E ao trabalho tambem.....

Apesar de ter ficado um pouco apreensiva no inicio por achar que nao ia aguentar estas semanas todas sem tlm e principalmente sem internet, agora percebo o quanto me fez relaxar e aproveitar estas férias a 100%. 

Prometo que durante a semana vou contando um bocadinho das minhas férias e mostrando algumas fotos do que fiz e do que vi.
